Nowadays much talk about topic is “Global Warming”. What is this global warming ?? And its impact ?? Let me say something on this topic.

About 75% of the solar energy reaching the Earth is absorbed by the Earth`s surface, which increases its temperature. The rest of the heat radiates back to the atmosphere. Some of the heat is trapped by greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide. As carbon dioxide is released by various human activities, it is rapidly increasing. This is causing global warming.

The average surface temperature is about 150 C. This is about 330C higher than it would be in the absence of the greenhouse effect. Without such gases, most of the Earth`s surface would be frozen with a mean air temperature of –180C.

Human activities during the last few decades of industrialization and population growth have polluted the atmosphere to the extent that it has begun to seriously affect the climate. The carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased by 31% since pre-industrial times, causing more heat to be trapped in the lower atmosphere. There is evidence to show that carbon dioxide levels are still increasing. Many countries have signed a convention to reduce Green House Gases under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC). However, the current international agreements are not still effective enough to prevent the significant changes in climate and a rise in sea levels.

Global Warming is accelerating faster than what climatologists had calculated a few years ago. In 1995, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC) predicted that global warming would raise temperatures by 3.50-100C during the 21st century, If the present trends continue. It is now believed that it could be much greater. This would lead to not only to changes in temperature but also in the amount of rainfall. we may see great annual fluctuations in rainfall leading to floods and droughts.
So, Lets WAKE UP NOW!!!

Sri Raghavendra Theertha

Gurubhyo Namaha

Sri Poojyaya Raghavendraya Satyadharma Rathayacha
Bajataam Kalpavrikshaya Namataam Kaamadhenave

It gives me immense pleasure to talk about shri Gururaghavendra sarvabhouma!

India is a land of religion. We all know that, sri Madhvacharya is the founder of dwaita phylosophy. Shri Raghavendra Swami of Mantralaya is one of the few greatest saints ever came down since shri Madhwacharya. Sri Raghavendra Swami is the avatar of Shanku-Karna of satyaloka. This shankukarna came down to earth being cursed by God Brahma, as Pralhad, the son of Daitya Hiranyakashipa. This Pralhad of kritayuga took avatar as Shri Raghavendra Swami in Kaliyuga. (He had also taken avatar in Dwaparyuga as the King Balheek and Vyasa Raya)

He came to earth as Shri Raghavendra Swami in the year 1598 A.D. and became the greatest living saint on earth ever known in the whole world.

He is very kind to all irrespective of caste, creed, religion and nationality. He has uplifted Dwaita Mata by Shri Teekacharya. He is the first and foremost devotee of Shri Hari and Vayu.

The 339th Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri gururaghavendra theertha will be celebrated from 23-29th August 2010 at Manthralaya. and also from 25-27th August 2010, in all the Rayaru`s Mutt.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

I am happy to introduce my blog "KANASU" on this special day of my life. Yes, today is my birthday and I am feeling great! Its been great bloggin. I feel this is a Great Media-most moderate way to express oneself. Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. So, Lets share the happiness.

Let me say something about dream/vision. In life, many thoughts are born in the course of a moment, an hour, a day. Some are dreams, some visions. Often, we are unable to distinguish between them. To some, they are the same; however, not all dreams are visions. Much energy is lost in fanciful dreams that never bear fruit. But visions are messages from the Great Spirit, each for a different purpose in life. Consequently, one person's vision may not be that of another. To have a vision, one must be prepared to receive it, and when it comes, to accept it. Thus when these inner urges become reality, only then can visions be fulfilled. The spiritual side of life knows everyone's heart and who to trust. How could a vision ever be given to someone to harbor if that person could not be trusted to carry it out.
The message is simple: commitment precedes vision.

We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true.

I like dreams of the future better than the history of the past. Well this is all my views about Dream/Vision.

Finally let me conclude with a note, "Correction does much, but encouragement does more."
I am looking forward your valuable feedback.
